Main Function:
Leads the team to develop Rich Internet Application with Adobe Flex and integrate with backend or mid tier application servers. Provide technical leadership to overall application design in usability, scalability and application maintainability.
Main Duties:
• Manage technical development across the required applications and streams.
• Line management responsibilities for the local development team.
• Work with the project manager to estimate, plan and track the delivery of solutions to the business.
• Point of contact for support team, investigating and resolving issues found in production.
• Ensure issues and risks are managed and escalated when appropriate.
• Oversee the development cycle to ensure the adherence of defined processes.
• Communicate effectively and operate well within the core group of the project manager, team leads and the test manager.
• Overseeing and being engaged with the design of solutions.
• Involved in the technical solution development of engineers assigned to projects.
• Responsible for team continuous improvement
• Coaching and mentoring on technical issues
• Strong people skill, business focused and able to establish and maintain strong relationship with global partners.
Experience required:
• 8+ years of working experience.
• Experience with Adobe Flex application development
• Java EE web application development
• Solid multi-tier web application development and system integration experience
• Experience in software integration and build process
• SQL (Oracle, MS SQL server or Sybase).
• Strong experience in Flex RIA with Java EE mid-tier application development
• Experience in Web services development
• Clearcase, Perforce or other enterprise source control tool.
• Good knowledge on web application design
• Experienced in other Rich Internet Application development technologies
• ITIL knowledge and experience
