Main Function:
Design, develop and maintain Sales IT applications in Java under direction of an application engineer (VP) and project manager (VP).

Main Duties:
The successful candidate will have the following responsibilities:
• Low level design of solution
• Coding and unit testing of the solution
• Work with testers to verify the solution
• Rework defects and take part in defect analysis

Experience Required:
• At least 7 years experience in developing Java based applications
• Extensive experience in JFC/Swing
• SQL (Sybase (preferred), Oracle, or SQL server)
• Unix (preferably SOLARIS)
• Strong fundamentals in object oriented design principles
• Hands-on experience of ClearCase or other enterprise source control tool
• Eclipse (pref) or other common IDE
• Web services (SOAP)
• XML, XSLT
• JDBC, JMS, Servlets; Ant
• Struts, JSP
• Junit
• Java web start
• Banking sector working experience
