"C# Development Lead (AVP) - Risk Finance Portal Framework" based in Singapore with a top tier Investment Bank. Extensive experience in C#, WPF, .NET

Main Function:
The Risk Finance Portal Framework (RFPF) will be the hosting application for all new internal based applications developed within Risk, Finance and ESS (HR, Legal and Compliance) with a potential user base of over 2000 users.

The Framework allows the creation of applications from a collection of modules developed by the same or independent development teams and links these together via a workflow and event model.

As Development Lead you will design and deliver high quality C# code under direction of a project manager and unit manager.

Main Duties:
Delivers the functionality requested by the Project Manager and other RFPF stakeholders.
The following is included:
• Rapidly learn the existing generation of the framework and Finance systems that rely on it.
• Participate in low level design of future solution.
• Coding and unit testing of future generations of the framework.
• Work with testers to verify the solution.
• Rework defects and take part in defect analysis.
• Understand the Investment Banking domain and Finance systems.
• Actively contribute to technical and process capability improvement.
• Grow the framework to include requirements from dependent applications.
• Advise other teams on their applications and provide functionality to be used across the Finance IT group.
• Evangelise the framework and its benefits to other development teams.


Experience and Skills required:
Essential
• More than 7 years developing C# applications
• WPF and .NET 3.x
• Winforms
• Visual Studio
• Good OO Design
• Design patterns (experienced with at least one of the following: Microsoft's CAL, CSLA and MVVM).
• Oracle
• Test driven development
• NUnit, NCover (or other coverage tools), FXCop
• Scores more than 4.0 in brainbench C# test within previous 6 months or MCSD certified developer.
• Proven ability to work within a team environment.
• Clear and fluent English verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to make good/sound decisions and use independent judgment.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
• Team lead experience.
• Interested and excited by technology: keeps up to date; regularly reads/writes blogs; participates in SIGs, etc.
• Line management experience
• Continuous Integration
• Full project lifecycle for complex applications
• Project Planning (MS-Project, PMI PMBOK, Prince2, etc)
• Perforce (pref), ClearCase or other enterprise source control tool.
• Expression Blend
• MSBuild
• An understanding of Java would be an advantage.
