Java Enterprise Web/Portal Development Lead – AVP Level based in Singapore with a top tier Investment Bank. Basic Salary up to SGD 140,000 per year

Project Background:
The team would develop and support Sales & CRM application modules for commercial business and investment banking businesses, in close co-ordination with global partners in the U.S. These applications are large, enterprise-wide applications that have a global user base with very high throughput and concurrent user base. The portal interacts with several (50+), heterogeneous back-end applications for writing and fetching data.

Technologies behind the Sales & CRM portals are
• Java / J2EE - majority of portal development is done in Java
• Weblogic Portal development & Application server – The framework that is used to develop the Sales & CRM portal.

Role:
• This is an enterprise web application programming lead position who has demonstrated abilities in developing & leading Java-based enterprise-wide application development teams.
• The individual needs to be well-versed with advanced JAVA development and have deep understanding of relevant concepts and technologies. Demonstrated ability in developing and particularly in providing top-notch support of relevant technology solutions by leveraging operations support best practices such as ITIL's Incident Management and Problem Management processes or other SDLC processes is required.
• Candidate would also manage a small team of senior application programmers and makes decisions on personnel actions including staffing and performance management
• Individual formulates/designs systems scope and objectives for the applications/ development of multiple projects. He/She should exercise judgment within generally defined practices and policies in selecting methods and tools for obtaining solutions.
• This position will entail regular interaction with initiative team manager.
• Good knowledge and demonstrated abilities of prioritization and execution of multiple tasks is required to be successful in this position.

Requirement:
• 8+years of experience in large enterprise-wide web applications in Java/J2EE environment
• Technologies: J2EE, Weblogic or other Application Servers
• Intranet / Portal development
• Complete SDLC experience
• Experience designing systems capable of handling 500+ concurrent users
