Main Function:
Client Trading Technology (CTT) provides Electronic Trading Solutions for the firm’s institutional clients. The solutions include PrimeTrade, our multi-asset class electronic trading platform, FIX Protocol-based trading, PrimeClear and a custom API. These solutions are used by both internal and external clients to trade Stocks, Listed Derivatives, Foreign Exchange, ETFs, Equity Options, Indexes, Cash Bonds and Repos.

The team has presence across the globe (including New York, London, Raleigh, Singapore, Tokyo and Sydney) and provides 24x6 coverage on development, support, and QA functions.

ROLE SUMMARY:
YOU Will…
• Successfully implement new or enhanced applications for PrimeTrade/ Client Trading Team.
• Provide strong Management and Leadership skills to the PrimeTrade development team.
• Work closely with other development leads locally and outsourced development resources to create an effective team culture with strong delivery ethic.
• Involve in Project management of the E2E development process from requirements gathering, through implementation, to release
• Follow a formal Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC+) in every aspect of the development
• Display attention to detail, willingness to learn, and must be proactive
• Require to work closely with the development teams in all regions throughout the lifecycle of projects.
• Adherence to the firms SDLC+ and GSDP project delivery processes will be required
• Heavily involved in the development of PrimeTrade platform handling Listed Derivatives
• Managing development in a Java environment.
• Work on the design and development of one of the major components within the PrimeTrade multi-asset trading platform

Job Requirements:
• At least 10 years development experience with at least 2 in a relevant business
• The successful candidate will not only be able to demonstrate mastery of the technology, but also show a strong understanding of the wider scope of applications they have been working Specific career development/growth opportunities associated with this position.
• Hard core Java application Development experience
• Exposure to Trading environment
• Back Office related to Trading, supporting front office (Cash)
• Hands-on development manager who can dive in the code and design.
• Senior Java development lead who will be able to design, develop, enhance, and support PrimeTrade’s electronic trading flow.
• Applicants absolutely must love developing software, and developing it very well. Passion for doing things right within the boundaries of practicality is a requirement for this post.
• Applicants must be able drive and participate on technical discussions and decisions on a higher level for PrimeTrade Java components.
• Applicants must be constantly keeping himself up to date with the latest technology and be proactive on improving things for the right reasons.
• Applicants must be able to drive projects and able to manage and track work items.
