“Configuration Analyst in Collateral Management IT – AVP Level” based in Singapore with a top tier Investment Bank. High Base + Bonus + Benefits.

Department Overview & Main Function:
Collateral Management is one function within the technology core operations group which provides technology solutions independent of product stovepipes. The Exposure Manager application manages collateral for Bank’s OTC Derivatives business globally, and also supports the Global Netting product for the front office. This market-leading solution optimises margin and increases capital efficiency for hedge fund trading, performing a portfolio-wide margin calculation reflecting cross-netted risk.

This role is to be a configuration analyst within the Collateral Management IT development team.

Main Duties:
Team Interaction:
It is a global role, liaising with teams in London, Prague, New York, and Singapore. The Config Mgmt role is purely London based presently, and the Singapore presence will be required to perform their duties to support all locations.
Liaise with PMs to confirm and report environment availability.
Liaise with Development to provide environment support, guidance and ensure consistency between Live, UAT and production environments.
Involvement in technical design discussion to ensure adherence to SDLC standards.

Source Code Management:
Work with the London based Configuration Manager in the management of the ClearCase source code repository to include all merging within release branches, creation of new branches and enforcing adherence to merge and branching strategy.

Build and Deployment Management:
Creation and maintenance of tools to assist the area with the building and deployment of code to SIT and UAT environments in accordance with SDLC standards.
Rebuilding environments prior to the testing of releases, maintenance of those environments whilst testing is ongoing, including the monthly update of the BAU environment post-release.

Packaging:
Working with the London Configuration Manager with the packaging of all applications, generation and basic functional testing of the Packages. All packaging tasks are to be carried out within the confines of the internal SDLC standards.

Release Management:
Working with the London Configuration Manager with coordinating and managing all minor and major releases with the development, support, DBA and other dependent teams. this will include the production of a Release Plan, raising and approval of CRs and Request Tickets within Project Timelines.

Server Estate Maintenance & Management:
Assist with ensuring that all server estate information is kept up-to-date in the Bank’s CMDB systems and that server rebuilds are carried out as necessary to ensure consistency across environments.

Process Management:
Work on the continuous improvement of Development and Release processes through analysis and automation of processes, where applicable, within internal SDLC standards.
