Main Function:
This role is to be the development manager for a Singapore based IT team within the Enterprise Management Technologies area, leading teams of developers in the delivery of solutions to a global user base.
Main Duties:
• Manage technical development across the required applications and streams.
• Line management responsibilities for the local development team.
• Work with the project manager to estimate, plan and track the delivery of solutions to the business.
• Point of contact for support team, investigating and resolving issues found in production.
• Ensure issues and risks are managed and escalated when appropriate.
• Oversee the development cycle to ensure the adherence of defined processes.
• Communicate effectively and operate well within the core group of the project manager, team leads and the test manager.
• Overseeing and being engaged with the design of solutions.
• Involved in the technical solution development of engineers assigned to projects.
• Participate and contribute to the continuous maturing and adoption of Enterprise Management Technologies processes and toolsets within the bank
• Manage key stakeholders’ relationship in global teams and user communities

Experience required:
• Experience of managing a development team of 15 or more developers. Experience in delivering large scale enterprise application development and integration project.
• Experience in large complex system integrations.
• Solid knowledge and experience in ITIL
• Deep and solid knowledge and experience in SDLC methodologies.
• Experience in C# .NET, ASP.NET, Java EE, etc
• Working knowledge in Oracle, Sybase or MS-SQL 2000
• Experience of using Clearcase or Perforce.
• Experience in Internet RIA technologies such as Adobe Flex, MS Silverlight, etc
• Experience in UNIX or equivalent
