“Program Manager – Financial Control & Regulatory Reporting IT” based in Singapore with a top tier Investment Bank.

Reporting to the Regional Head of Financial Control & IT Regulatory Systems Team, you will work closely with the respective stakeholders in the business and create a regional model for the timely planning and execution of all Financial Control & Regulatory IT Programs

You will be working on Statistical Analysis - Bank of England and FSA reporting; Local Regulatory Reporting i.e. MAS, HKMA etc; Capital Adequacy Management. You will be responsible for managing a program of work involving the implementation of Financial Control & Regulatory Reporting systems for the APAC region covering 11 countries

You will have:
• A banking or consultancy background (12+ Yrs of experience) with strong expertise in Financial Control & Regulatory Reporting Systems.
• A proven track record of successfully managing & delivering Financial Control & Regulatory IT programs within a banking environment (8+ Yrs of experience).
• A strong experience in managing vendor deliverables.
• Proven track record of delivering Programs/Projects on time and within cost against a recognized project management methodology skills.

Major Function:
Accurate and timely Financial Control and Regulatory Reporting is one of the critical functions for the successful operation of the bank. Failure to meet the regulators’ requirements can lead to heavy penalties or even closure of bank’s entities.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a program of work involving the implementation of Financial Control & Regulatory Reporting systems for the APAC region covering 11 countries. This role will be reporting to the APAC Head of Financial Control and Regulatory Reporting IT.

The candidate will be responsible for the successful delivery of the overall program. The role requires effective co-ordination between the projects and managing their inter-dependencies. In addition to managing Bank’s internal deliverables, this role is expected to manage vendor deliverables. The vendor is the global leader in developing finance regulatory reporting systems. Further, the candidate will be required to manage the on-going enhancements to systems that are already in production.

Another critical aspect of this role is stakeholder management. The stakeholders for this program include APAC Head of Financial Control & CFO South East Asia, APAC Finance Projects Head, Country Financial Controllers, Head of Global Financial Control & Regulatory Reporting Regulatory Reporting IT and the vendor senior management team.
