Main Function
The Credit Technology group is looking for a hands-on tech lead/senior developer with strong financial industry experience in designing and developing electronic trading platforms and external connectivity to financial industry clients and ECNs using proprietary protocols and industry standard protocols like FIX and ION.
The primary focus of this position will be to lead and develop the Credit electronic trading platform in line with the business strategic and be responsible for delivering client and broker ecommerce services for various credit products. This role involves working closely with the global development team to facilitate electronic trading across various platforms and to deliver projects in a timely fashion.
Main Duties
• Liaise with business users and other development groups to gather ongoing requirements.
• Take responsibility for projects to meet these ongoing requirements
• Apply design and system architecture skills to ensure continual increase in performance and stability of the core system
• Produce documented and tested software for delivery to production.
• Participate in design and code reviews
Person Requirements:
• 5+ years of Core Java, FIX, J2EE development and design experience in the financial industry
• 3+ years of experience in ION or any other vendor provided connectivity software
• 4+ years of experience in design and development of high frequency & high volume eTrading application
• 3+ years of experience in messaging protocols especially TibcoRV, MQ Series or JMS
• Knowledge of Perl or any other scripting knowledge would be a definite plus
• Thorough understanding of electronic connectivity to brokers, clients and ECNs

• XML and associated tools and utilities
• Talarian/TIBCO
• Perl scripting
• Basic knowledge of bonds and credit default swaps
