“Project Manager (Reference Data) – VP Level” based in Singapore with a top tier Investment Bank.

Department Overview:
The Reference Data team are responsible for, product and price data within the bank on a cross-asset basis as well as counterparty and client data. The team maintains a number of strategic repositories both in-house and vendor that source, maintain, validate and distribute reference data to all systems in the firm.

Main Function:
This role is to be a senior project manager within the Singapore based Reference Data IT team, in the delivery of the project against cost, schedule and quality within the Reference Data IT space in Singapore.

This is a hands-on project management role and includes the planning and tracking of:
Change requests, Scope, Time, Cost, Quality, People, Communications and Project Risks.

Effectively manages each assigned engineer. The following elements are included:
• Recruitment and hiring process.
• Initial induction of new staff.
• Career Management, including objective setting, performance appraisals and career planning.

Job Requirements:
• A minimum of 12 years of experience in software engineering or related areas.
• A minimum of 6 years of experience in successfully managing projects in an Investment Bank.
• Proven track record of delivering projects on time and within cost against a recognized project management methodology.
• Demonstrable blend of theory and practice.
• Experience in Data Warehousing projects.
• Experience in ITIL/ITSM.

Detailed knowledge and experience with the following standards/models:
• Project Management Institute, PMBOK
• IEEE SWEBOK
• SEI Capability Maturity Model, (CMM).
• SEI Capability Maturity Model Integrated, (CMMI).
