“Java Developer – AVP Level” based in Singapore with a top tier Investment Bank. Extensive Experience in Java 5, Spring Framework & UML Modelling

Overview:
You will Design and deliver high quality Java code under direction of an application engineer (VP) and project manager (VP).

This is a hands-on role & you will involve in:
• Low level design of solution
• Coding and unit testing of the solution
• Work with testers to verify the solution
• Rework defects and take part in defect analysis

You will have:
• A minimum of 6+yrs of experience in developing Java based applications
• Strong expertise in Java 5, Spring framework, UML Modelling, UNIX (preferably Linux/Solaris), SQL (Oracle, SQL server or Sybase), XML & XSLT.
• Experience in Eclipse (pref) or other common IDE.
• Experience in Perforce (pref) or other enterprise source control tool.
• Experience in Oracle Coherence distributed cache.
• Strong fundamentals in object oriented design principles.
• Investment Banking industry experience.
• Experience in ICE Framework, Web services (SOAP), Maven, Junit, Java Libraries 1.5+ is desired.
• Exceptional communication skills (verbal, written, and presentation)
