1. Oracle Developer – Analyst (2 Positions)
Skills/Exp required (MUST):
• 5+ years of working experience in Oracle (11g Preferred)
• Strong Oracle programming experience including PL/SQL coding; stored procedures; packages; views; relational database design; schema design and performance tuning.
• Excellent understanding of the full SDLC lifecycle including both waterfall and iterative methodologies.
• Oracle Professional certification
• Experience using TOAD, SQL*Plus, SQL*Loader, Oracle Reports.
• Previous experience working for an investment bank. General understanding of basic risk management principles.
• Specific product knowledge of any of the following: FX, commodities, debt products, credit derivatives, other derivative products
• Understanding of Business Objects & Prior experience of Perforce (or similar)
2. Oracle Developer – Analyst
Skills/Exp required (MUST):
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in developing applications with Oracle
• UNIX (preferably Linux)
• SQL (Oracle)
• OO Design
• Solid understanding and working knowledge of Oracle 10g RAC / 11G from both Development and DBA perspective
• Solid understanding and working knowledge of Data Warehouse and Data Mart concepts with proven experience in both
• Strong hands-on in SQL/PLSQL
• Physical architecture (partitioning, cluster)
• Working with large databases - multi terabytes (4+ Terabytes)
• Knowledge of financial products
• UNIX skills
• Working knowledge on scheduling tools (Autosys/Tivoli)
• Data Modeling tools: ER/Studio, ERWin, Enterprise Architect
• Any Netezza or other database appliance experience is a plus
• Any BI (Business Intelligence) / OLAP exp is a plus
• MQ / Tibco EMS messaging experience is a plus
• Java / .Net/C# is a plus
• Market Risk, Credit Risk domain knowledge
3. Oracle Developer – AVP Level
Skills/Exp required (MUST):
• 7+yrs of working experience in Oracle database development/design.
• Hands on design & development of Oracle PL/SQL in a 10g environment.
• Experience working with large databases (i.e. in the 100’s of GB+).
• Good Oracle performance tuning experience.
• Experience working with source code control tools, mainly ClearCase.
• Strong Oracle development skills (minimum Oracle 10g).
• Good Unix (Solaris) and shell scripting skills.
• Experience working with Perl scripting and Autosys will have an added advantage.
• Team player, strong analysis skills
4. Oracle Development DBA - AVP Level
Main Duties:
• Designing, testing and documenting Oracle database features including but not exclusively to, RAC, Security, Statistics, Partitioning, Resource Management, Advanced Compression, Exadata
• Use of advanced diagnostic techniques and tools for performance related problems
Skills/Exp required (MUST):
• 7+yrs of total experience in Oracle Development & Data Base Administration
• Advanced knowledge of Oracle RDBMS 11g on RAC
• Performance monitoring and tuning. Analysis of performance data and Oracle AWR
• Database Statistics strategy and Management
• Design and implementation of features including Oracle Partitioning, Resource Management, Oracle Dataguard, Advanced Compression, Exadata
• Proven prior experience of technical service delivery
• Advanced experience of Oracle Database infrastructures in large corporate organizations
• IT experience in an Investment Banking environment
