“Commodities IT (Physical Agriculture and Coal Trading) - Business Analyst – VP Level” based in Singapore with a top tier Investment Bank.

Overview:
Reporting to the senior management of the team, you will involve working closely with the Commodities IT department which consists of IT professionals located in London, New York and Singapore. Commodities IT are an application development group responsible for creating software to support the trading, valuation and risk management of commodities products.

You will be responsible for working directly with a senior trader (based in Singapore) and the supporting user community to initially perform analysis and planning for the implementation of the physical Agriculture and Coal trading in SolArc RightAngle (SRA).

This is a "hands-on" role with potential for managing a small team once leadership capability is demonstrated.

Main Duties:
• Capture requirements from Traders, Schedulers, Controllers, Settlements, Market Risk, Credit Risk, and Compliance relating to the implementation of physical Agriculture and Coal trading in SRA
Detailed analysis in SRA to determine how the request can be implemented
• Facilitate design and discussion forums with the Global SRA user base to ensure consistent design with current Crude implementation where appropriate
• Create detailed specification for developer
• Work with developer and user to complete testing
• Troubleshoot production issues when escalated by support desk

You will have:
• A banking or consultancy background (10+yrs of experience) with strong expertise in physical agriculture and coal trading and scheduling business
• A proven track record of experience in the SolArc RightAngle Application (previous implementation experience a must)
• Should be able to operate within specified guidelines with limited direct oversight (possible remote management)
• Command of standard testing and production deployment best practices
• Exceptional communication skills (verbal, written, and presentation)
