“Sr. C# Developer – AVP Level” based in Singapore with a top tier Investment Bank – Permanent position

Department Overview:
Fixed Income Technology is responsible for the development and support of all front, middle and back office applications and systems that are used to support Fixed Income business globally. Systems supported are a combination of In-house development and vendor applications, using a variety of technologies. The Fixed Income team is comprised of over 200 staff in London, New York, Tokyo and Singapore.

The Fixed Income business aims to be one of the leading liquidity providers in the derivatives and the Government bond markets, and to offer an integrated sales, trading and research service to the client base comprising investor business, corporates, financial institutions and hedge funds. The product offering includes Government Bonds, interest rate swaps, basis swaps, interest rate options & swaptions, FRAs and caps / floors.

Main Function: Designing and developing the front office trade store, associated feeds, and position management system, building on a newly developed .Net trade and position server framework. Troubleshooting of production issues where necessary.

Main Duties:
- Liaise with business users and other development groups to gather ongoing requirements.
- Take responsibility for projects to meet these ongoing requirements
- Apply design and system architecture skills to ensure continual increase in performance and stability of the core system
- Produce documented and tested software for delivery to production.
- Participate in design and code reviews

Experience Required:
Working on the design and architecture of a large distributed system
Unit testing, system testing, performance testing
Production troubleshooting Work on a Fixed Income trading platform.
Experience working as a team lead.
C# Development
Ability to code business requirements into end to end solutions using C#
Experience of n-tier / component based development Database development experience using T-SQL and Oracle Database design including stored procedures, triggers, etc
Experience in complex and large stored procedures - being able to understand, code and improve it.
Performance tuning
Data migration
OO Design.

Skills Required:
C#, SQL, System design and architecture, Understanding of design patterns and data structures, XML and associated tools and utilities, C++, VB, Bonds and Swaps, Talarian/ TIBCO, MS SQL Server, COM+
