Permanent Role: “Sr. Project Manager / BA – Wallstreet platform – VP Level” based in Singapore with a top tier Investment Bank

Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for managing the book of work around the Wallstreet platform. This covers working with the user group in terms of developing requirements.
- Advising on the mechanics of the Wallstreet platform and how it can be configured and implemented to meet the business needs.
- Working with the development manager based in London you will ensure the priorities are maintained and aligned with the business expectations.
- Provide the technical expertise on the Wallstreet platform. Govern the configuration and system setup in line with functional requirements.
- Work with senior management to set the direction of the Wallstreet platform providing input into the platform strategy.
- Also work with the business to ensure that this strategy is aligned to their business requirements.
- Work with the WSS IT development manager for planning / strategy of CTB book of work.
- Drive efficiency and cost targets through to development partner(s) and ensure appropriate input to budget process to cover cost of delivery through the captive development organization.
- Provide the SL3 coverage for the Asia time zone handling all issues escalated from the production support team.
- Work with the production support team to improve knowledge and increase the overall level of support.

Key Technical Skills:
- Wallstreet application knowledge both functional and system setup/management
- Experience in the technologies supporting the WSS application integration layer:

SDK: JDK(Core / Web / Enterprise)
Scripting: PERL / Solaris / Java
Database: Oracle (PL SQL)
AppServer: Weblogic (Development and Deployment)
WebServer: Tomcat (Development and Deployment)
Adapters: Open Adapters
Scheduling: Control M
Middleware: IBM MQ (API Development)/ TIBCO EMS(JMS API Development) SourceControl: CVS
Build: Ant

Experience:
- Proven experience managing and working with the Wallstreet platform.
- Proven experience in the software development lifecycle, from requirements analysis, through design, build, testing and deployment of solutions.
- Good wide-ranging awareness of IT technologies and up to date with the latest technology trends
- Experience of working in a culturally diverse and geographically distributed team
- Investment Banking/Financial Services experience
- Product knowledge of debt markets covering fixed income, money market, foreign exchange and futures & options.
