“FX Development Lead – VP Level” based in Singapore with a top tier Investment Bank – Permanent position

Key Responsibilities:
This is a great opportunity to lead a growing and high calibre currencies development team in Singapore. This team forms part of a larger global IT group. In this role you will have regular business and technical interaction with the global business and technology stakeholders. You will be responsible for all aspects of the project life cycle of an expanding global electronic FX platform, with particular emphasis on high quality, on time, short and regular delivery cycles. You will also be responsible for management of the development team. You may require occasional travel.

Job Requirements:
- VP level experience of managing a high calibre team of 10 to 15 developers in a front office technology investment bank environment.
- Team Lead and Project Management skills including planning, estimating, scheduling, resourcing, mentoring and soft people skills.
- Hands on management style with emphasis on light weight effective process, high quality and timely deliveries.
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills. This role requires regular and detailed discussions with the global senior business heads and technology stakeholders.
- Demonstrable involvement in FX products preferably FX Cash in an eTrading environment.
- Be from a technical development background and have a deep understanding of electronic FX trading architecture. The candidate is expected to contribute to platform architecture and provide guidance on technical solutions.
- Have worked with peers in the QA and Production support groups to deliver a true end to end high quality solution.
- Be familiar with at least one object oriented development language (C++/Java/C#), SQL on any enterprise RDBMS.
