Role:
We are currently going through a very healthy growth period and expanding our support team to provide global technical support coverage in order to meet our goal of providing a 24x5 service level for our customers. • Excellent interpersonal communication skills
• Proven ability to think and solve problems systematically
• Good knowledge of Linux and Windows servers
• Good knowledge of networking and network devices
• Good knowledge of pc and server hardware
• Some knowledge of the Java programming language
Your responsibilities will include:
• Providing application support to business users including initial client setup and training to users throughout the Asia Pacific region
• Being the primary point of contact for external customers requiring business or technical support for our java-based client trading software
• Providing primary point of contact for internal customers requiring IT support
• Resolving incidents primarily during the initial telephone call
• Managing the customer relationship and the escalation process for any incidents that cannot be resolved immediately
• Routine internal IT administration and maintenance
Your team skills include:
• You can communication confidently and develop solutions with software development teams
• You can work independently with little supervision and under pressure in a production environment
• You have good communication skills in English
